Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) Full-Time | Temporary-to-Hire | $38.00 - $40.00 per Hour | San Bernardino, CA

Legacy Career Solutions is partnering with a respected nonprofit healthcare organization serving the Inland Empire to identify a compassionate and mission-driven Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN).

This is a full-time, temporary-to-hire opportunity with the intent of transitioning the selected candidate to regular full-time employment with the client following a successful evaluation period. New graduates and newly licensed RDNs are encouraged to apply

This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced and newly licensed Registered Dietitian Nutritionists seeking to build a rewarding career serving underserved communities.

What You'll Do

• Conduct nutrition assessments, screenings, and reassessments
• Develop individualized nutrition care plans and meal plans
• Provide one-on-one nutrition counseling and education
• Assist clients in accessing food resources, healthcare services, and community support programs
• Facilitate nutrition and wellness workshops
• Monitor client progress and health outcomes
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation
• Participate in quality assurance and program reporting activities

Client Population

You will work with adults facing a variety of nutrition-related challenges, including:

• HIV/AIDS
• Diabetes
• High cholesterol
• Weight management concerns
• Renal-related dietary needs
• Recovery following hospitalization
• Food insecurity and limited access to healthy nutrition

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential required
• Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field
• Strong communication and counseling skills
• Ability to educate and motivate clients toward healthier lifestyles
• Self-motivated, organized, and professional
• Community health, public health, nonprofit, or nutrition counseling experience preferred
• New graduates and newly licensed RDNs are encouraged to apply
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus but not required

Compensation & Employment Information

• $38.00 - $40.00 per hour, depending on experience
• Full-time schedule
• Temporary-to-hire opportunity
• Mileage reimbursement for approved business travel between office locations
• Benefits become available upon successful conversion to the client's regular full-time employee status, subject to the client's benefit plans and eligibility requirements
