About the Role:
Alamo City Healthy Kids and Families is looking for a passionate and skilled Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) to join our multidisciplinary team. This role offers the opportunity to work with adolescents, children and adults, providing nutrition care that supports long-term health and weight management success. In this rewarding role, you'll make a real difference in the lives of children and families by providing expert nutritional guidance and support.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients
- Develop individualized meal plans and dietary interventions tailored to each client's needs
- Provide one-on-one and group nutrition counseling and education sessions
- Educate patients and families on healthy eating habits and lifestyle changes
- Monitor and document client progress, adjusting nutrition plans as needed
- Lead community outreach programs and wellness workshops focused on healthy eating habits
- Support families with culturally sensitive nutrition guidance and resources
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with clinic standards
Requirements:
- Active Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential required
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field
- Experience working with pediatric and adolescent population is a plus
- Licensed Dietitian (LD) in the state of Texas or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with diverse populations
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach with a passion for community health
