Are you mechanically inclined and enjoy building equipment with your hands? We are seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join a growing manufacturer of industrial cleaning and process equipment used by customers across a wide range of industries. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with mechanical systems, reading prints, and assembling high-quality equipment in a clean, team-oriented shop environment.
What You'll Do
- Assemble industrial equipment, skids, and mechanical systems from blueprints and assembly drawings.
- Measure, cut, thread, and install pipe using manual and powered pipe-threading equipment.
- Install threaded pipe, valves, fittings, pumps, motors, and related mechanical components.
- Use hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, and precision measuring instruments.
- Read bills of materials (BOMs) and follow detailed work instructions.
- Verify proper alignment, fit, and function of mechanical assemblies.
- Perform quality inspections throughout the assembly process.
- Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and make necessary adjustments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following all safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous mechanical assembly, maintenance, equipment assembly, or industrial manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
- Pipe threading, fitting, and mechanical piping experience is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with pumps, valves, pneumatic, or hydraulic systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Dependable with a solid work ethic and good attendance.
- Able to lift components, stand for extended periods, and work in a manufacturing environment.
