Litigation Legal Assistant (Insurance Defense)

Our client, a respected insurance defense law firm, is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to support attorneys in a fast-paced civil litigation practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized professional who enjoys managing multiple priorities and keeping litigation moving efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, proofread, and electronically file pleadings and other legal documents.
• Manage attorney calendars, litigation deadlines, hearings, depositions, and client meetings.
• Coordinate discovery, subpoenas, and deposition materials.
• Maintain electronic case files and organize litigation documents.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and vendors.
• Process attorney time entries and provide general administrative support.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of litigation legal assistant experience.
• Experience with Georgia state and federal court e-filing.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal document management systems.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines.
• Insurance defense experience preferred.
