TruBlu HR Solutions is seeking a Master Electrician with a minimum of 5 years of electrical experience. This is a direct-hire opportunity for an experienced electrician who is comfortable performing electrical troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs on traffic signals, highway illumination, and other electrical infrastructure.

This is a great opportunity for a seasoned Master Electrician who is looking for a slower-paced role and is open to helping train newer team members.

Pay: $40/hr +/-, depending on experience
Position Type: Direct Hire
Travel: Limited travel between San Antonio, Austin, and Dallas, less than 10% of the time
Start Date: ASAP

Job Duties:

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain traffic signals, highway illumination, and electrical infrastructure
• Perform electrical maintenance and service work in the field
• Follow work orders, safety procedures, and jobsite regulations
• Work from bucket trucks and aerial lifts as needed
• Assist with training and mentoring less experienced electricians
• Complete assigned electrical work safely and efficiently
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding job progress, issues, and repairs needed

Requirements:

• Must have a valid Master Electrician License
• Minimum 5 years of electrical experience required
• Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• No DWI within the last 5 years
• Must be comfortable working at heights from bucket trucks/aerial lifts
• Must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Must be able to follow work order regulations and safety procedures
• Must be dependable, safety-focused, and able to work independently
• Steel-toed boots and work pants required

Additional Requirements:

• Must pay any toll violations before starting
• Repeat theft or assault charges will be disqualified
• Background and driving record will be reviewed

Vehicle Information:
A company vehicle will be ordered once the candidate starts. Candidate will use their personal vehicle temporarily and receive mileage reimbursement until the company truck is delivered.
