COMFORT ZONE OF NORTH FLORIDA is hiring an EXPERIENCED HVAC SERVICE TECHNICIAN who takes pride in accurate diagnostics, honest communication, and solving problems the right way.

THIS IS A SERVICE ROLE FOR A TECHNCIAN WHO WANTS TO DO QUALITY WORK, THINK THROUGH PROBLEMS, AND PROVIDE REAL SOLUTIONS THAT MAKE SENSE FOR THE HOMEOWNER.

Pay Range: $26 - $34/hr

WHAT THIS ROLE LOOKS LIKE:

This position is focused on full system performance and true diagnostics, not just surface-level repairs.

You will be responsible for identifying root causes of system issues, explaining findings clearly to homeowners, and recommending the best path forward. This may include repairs, system improvements, efficiency upgrades, or replacement options when appropriate.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Diagnose and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems including RTU's, heat pump split systems, furnaces, and ventilation equipment
• Perform full system evaluations and identify performance or safety issues
• Complete maintenance and preventative service work
• Test electrical components and verify proper operation
• Install or replace HVAC components when needed (Including Compressors)
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to homeowners
• Document all work performed in company systems
• Maintain professionalism, safety, and quality on every call
• Coordinate with office staff for scheduling and follow-up

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• 3+ years of residential HVAC service experience preferred
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Ability to work independently in the field
• Strong communication skills with homeowners
• Professional attitude and reliable work ethic
• Must have service tools Including: digital gauges, vacuum pump, torches etc.

SCHEDULE:

• Monday through Friday with the occasional Saturday (Peak Season Only)
• Day shift
• Year-round work with overtime opportunities when available
• Currently no on-call required
