We are a growing interior design studio seeking an additional skilled and reliable carpenter to collaborate on high-end residential projects. Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and drywall.
• Build rough frameworks including walls, floor joists, partitions, and roof rafters.
• Install functional and decorative fixtures like windows, doors, staircases, trim, and molding.
• Build and install custom cabinetry, built-ins, shelving, and furniture.
• Install trim, molding, doors, and other finish carpentry elements.
• Collaborate with the designer to ensure projects are executed with precision.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Meet project deadlines while maintaining exceptional quality.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in finish carpentry and custom woodworking.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
• Tool ownership and reliable transportation preferred.
• Experience working in occupied residential homes is a plus.
• Ability to provide references and examples of previous work.
