Manage Reactor Engineering resources to assure functional area activities are executed with an appropriate balance of operational excellence, safety, and cost. Manage the performance and development of assigned Reactor Engineering personnel. Fulfill engineering and technical leadership accountability regarding short-term and long-term reactor engineering programs. Serve as the senior expert for the management of reactivity and nuclear fuel, including reload core designs and cycle management. Participate in business planning, budget, and business performance reviews. Manage functional area business initiatives. Participate as a senior resource for company-wide programs regarding reactivity management and operational excellence. Perform other duties as directed, including emergency response and outage support.
