Position Title: QPR/BSBB Statewide Coordinator(Be Safe, Be Brave for Suicide Prevention) Statewide Coordinator
Status: Full-Time/Non-exempt
Reports To: Community Training Program Manager
Location: This is a hybrid position offering some remote work while requiring regular in-person work at training locations in Oregon and at the Lines for Life office in Portland.
Compensation: The starting salary for this position is $25.50 per hour, plus a 2% differential for living and working from Oregon. Please see below for more details on the compensation package. We offer help and hope to individuals and communities, and promote mental health for all. Our work addresses a spectrum of needs that include intervention, prevention, and advocacy. We educate, train, and advocate to prevent issues of substance abuse, mental illness, and thoughts of suicide from reaching crisis levels. But when a crisis arises or support is needed, we are available 24/7/365 to intervene with personalized help.
QPR Statewide Coordinator Position Overview: The QPR (Question, Persuade, and Refer) & BSBB (Be Safe, Be Brave for Suicide Prevention) Statewide Coordinator will provide statewide logistical support and technical assistance statewide for trainings and trainer support to support the achievement of the following goals and objectives: increase access, availability and quality of training programming in Oregon; increase knowledge among youth-serving adults of warning signs of suicide in youth in Oregon; increase confidence and competence of youth-serving adults to intervene when warning signs of suicide are recognize; increase access to suicide prevention curriculum that align with ODE standards for Oregon health classes; and decrease the youth suicide rate in Oregon.
