Perform a variety of echocardiographic procedures, including transthoracic and stress echocardiograms. Analyze and interpret hemodynamic data to assist in clinical decision-making. Collaborate closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain and operate echocardiography equipment, ensuring optimal functionality. Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards in all procedures. High School Diploma or GED required. Associate Degree in a related field preferred. Graduate of a formal Cardiovascular Program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs preferred. Two years of echocardiography experience preferred. Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS or RCS) Required. New graduates must obtain registry within six months of hire. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Proficiency in performing and interpreting echocardiographic studies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
