Directly supervise, performance manage, and train Clinical Directors within the assigned market. Accountable for center performance objectives, P&L, growth, and culture. Allocate time to direct patient care as a PCP and/or other clinical duties. Allocate remainder of time to leadership responsibilities, including Clinical Director performance, engagement, and building strong clinical-operations synergy and culture. Directs accountability for clinical outcomes and day-to-day management of Medical Directors in multiple centers. Ensures successful clinical operations and meeting/exceeding plan market earnings. Manages, mentors, and coaches Medical Directors. Oversees and facilitates talent development of PCPs, NPs, and Medical Directors. Cultivates a center-level physician culture. Assists Clinical COE in training new practitioners. Participates in recruiting and interviewing PCP and specialist candidates. Partners with Clinical COE and Talent Acquisition. Establishes and supports relationships with payers, specialists, community, and hospitals. Monitors and supports overall market culture. Reviews/approves center-level referrals. Assists Regional President with market quality and performance improvement initiatives. Oversees monthly scorecard reviews. Provides training to other ChenMed entities. Develops deep relationships with providers and key stakeholders. Uses understanding of local market dynamics to drive clinical initiatives. Builds clinical credibility and trust. Assists with implementation of cost reduction and market clinical strategies. Delivers outstanding clinical outcomes and service to patient panel as a PCP (20%). Performs other duties as assigned.
