Maneuver tractor into position to attach trailer and handle lines to secure. Operate truck in a safe manner in compliance with regulations and company policies. Inspect tractor-trailer equipment for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection reports. Operate Driver Delivery Handheld (DDH), document delivery receipts, and product temperatures. Inspect trailer to ensure product is secure. Ride and train with a Driver Trainer to gain knowledge of commercial driving regulations and observe driving skills. Maintain driver logs according to DOT regulations. Assist the driver in unloading the trailer and delivering product into customer premises. Perform other duties as assigned.
