**Location Description**
The Lawrence, Kansas facility is 236,000 square feet and home to about 200+ hard working team members who are proud to produce iconic pet food brands like Kibbles 'n Bits®. Lawrence is a college town and the home to both the University of Kansas and Haskell Indian Nations University with Kansas State University about 85 miles away. The city is known for a thriving music and art scene and is also the home of the University of Kansas athletic teams.
**Responsibilities**
**Material Handler**
Pay Rate: **$24.45** per hour
The Post Consumer Brands facility in Lawrence, KS operates on a 24/7 production schedule. This position will work:
+ D Shift - Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and every other Friday 6:00pm - 6:00am
+ Shift premium: $1.50 per hour
In the Material Handler role, you will:
+ Operate forklifts to load and unload trailers in a safe and efficient manner to meet customer needs
+ Maintain forklifts and other equipment to reduce/eliminate downtime
+ Maintain a clean, sanitary and orderly work area to ensure employee and food safety
**Qualifications**
The successful candidate (s) for this role will have the following qualifications:
+ Possess a high school diploma or a GED
+ Ability to comply with a strict attendance policy
+ Desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
+ Forklift experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
