As an MRI Technologist, you will operate the MRI scanners to obtain images for use by the physician in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies. You will perform procedures to demonstrate sectional anatomic images for interpretations by; or at the request of a licensed practitioner. You will maintain a safe and therapeutic diagnostic radiological environment based on practice standards, radiation safety guidelines that include monitoring. You will perform procedures efficiently and according to the protocol for radiologic interpretation. You may need to lift patients or assist in lifting them on and off the exam table to position for appropriately for procedures. You will need to perform MRI procedures at a technical level not requiring direct supervision to keep procedures on schedule with no deviation due to lack of technical expertise.
