The MRI technologist produces diagnostic quality images using MRI system and related equipment. The technologist must provide quality patient care while consistently adhering to the Departmental and Medical Center policies and procedures.

Appropriately assesses the patient’s pain and involves the patient in effective management of the pain using age appropriate interventions.
Maintain HIPPA compliance.
Maintain Imaging QA requirements. (<1% error rate)
Consistently ensures prompt timely service to all outpatients.
Monitors Patient Tracker consistently to make sure patients are not waiting excessively.
Works to always meet or exceed patient’s expectation for fast efficient and compassionate service.
Maintains clean environment.
Cleans equipment as required.
Sanitizes equipment between each patient contact.
Consistently uses kind words, salutations, smiles, etc promoting a friendly approach during all patient interactions.
Consistently wears identification badge while at work. (<1% non compliance)
Takes call according to schedule.
Completes all work before clocking out and leaving.
Assists the radiologist and or other physicians as necessary.
