Job Description Fulcrum Consulting, an LRS company, is seeking a Business Systems Analyst Transformation, Automation & AI with our client in Minneapolis, MN. Our client is seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to lead business transformation initiatives through business analysis, process optimization, automation, and AI-enabled solutions. This role partners with business and technology teams to identify opportunities, evaluate solution options, define future-state capabilities, and deliver recommendations that improve operational efficiency and business outcomes. The ideal candidate has expertise in business process analysis, solution design, enterprise systems, automation technologies, and AI, with the ability to translate complex business needs into practical, technology-enabled solutions. This role supports initiatives from discovery through implementation but does not require software development or coding experience. Key Responsibilities + Lead discovery sessions and stakeholder interviews to gather business requirements and identify improvement opportunities. + Analyze business processes, identify gaps and risks, and recommend future-state processes, operating models, and technology solutions. + Evaluate automation and AI opportunities, including workflow automation, RPA, document intelligence, and generative AI. + Perform business case development, cost-benefit analysis, solution option assessments, and implementation recommendations. + Develop process maps, capability models, data flows, journey maps, and executive-ready presentations. + Assess solution feasibility, integration impacts, dependencies, and implementation readiness. + Collaborate with business, technology, analytics, operations, and compliance teams throughout the project lifecycle. + Support solution design, requirements refinement, implementation planning, user readiness, and post-implementation validation. + Stay current on emerging AI, automation, and digital transformation technologies. Required Qualifications + 7+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Business Systems Analysis, Process Improvement, Digital Transformation, Business Architecture, or related roles. + Strong experience with requirements gathering, process analysis, stakeholder facilitation, and SDLC methodologies. + Demonstrated ability to develop business cases, perform cost-benefit analyses, and evaluate solution alternatives. + Knowledge of APIs, integrations, enterprise applications, SaaS platforms, workflow solutions, and solution architecture concepts. + Excellent communication, facilitation, and executive presentation skills.
