Provide risk assessment, education, counseling, and psychological support to individuals and families at risk for hereditary cancer; Obtain personal medical history and family history in the form of a pedigree; Assess risk for cancer development and germline mutations; Discuss genetic testing options, implications, and obtain informed consent; Interpret genetic test results and provide post-test counseling; Discuss screening and prevention recommendations; Maintain timely patient charting and billing submissions; Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
