Job Description SFO’s Finance Division seeks an experienced enterprise finance technology leader to serve as its Finance Technology & Systems Strategy Manager. This position drives finance technology integration, automation, innovation and data visualization solutions that inform Airport-wide decision-making across SFO’s annual $1.8 billion operating budget, $12.5 billion Capital Improvement Plan (CIP), and the revenues and funding sources that support these investments. Under general administrative direction, the Finance Technology & Systems Strategy Manager provides division-wide leadership in finance systems strategy, data governance, data visualization, business intelligence, automation, and process optimization. The position ensures that the Airport’s financial systems and data environment deliver accurate, timely, and actionable insights that strengthen revenue and expenditure decision-making and operational effectiveness across the Airport. Reporting to the Managing Director of Finance, the Finance Technology & Systems Strategy Manager supports strategic initiatives and operational improvements across key Finance units—including operating budget, capital planning, revenue management, debt and grants administration, and financial controls. The incumbent will develop and execute the Airport’s finance technology and reporting roadmap; integrate City & County of San Francisco and Airport systems (e.g., ERP/PeopleSoft, operating budget, capital planning, contract/project management, revenue/collections, data warehouse/BI), and implement automation, internal controls, and analytics solutions. This position’s initiatives will enhance efficiency, compliance and performance, supporting SFO’s financial targets and strategic plan. The Financial Technology & Systems Strategy Manager leads a team of four, including two (2) mid-level managers and two (2) professional staff members responsible for financial systems, analytics, and process improvement.
