Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Manager to join our team at New Dawn Treatment Center in Sacramento/Roseville, CA. This role is vital in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting our mission of clinical excellence. As a Nurse Manager, you will play an essential role in enhancing the lives of our clients through dedicated nursing practices.

Responsibilities

• Seeing detox clients in person daily, at each site.

• Support the supervision of Recovery Advocates andStaff Nurses.

• Monitors staffing levels andflexesstaff accordingly.

• Provideleadership on the floorand respond to emergency situations promptly.

• Serves as the point of contact forstaff aboutquestions and concerns during assigned shifts,escalatingto theDONwhenappropriate.

• Monitoring all medication refill orders.

• Support and helpfacilitatemonthly training,refreshers, and individual coaching sessions.

• Monitor thecompletionof shift wrap-ups and EMR documentation.

• Completing medicationadministrationas needed.

• Destroying controlled mediations as needed.

• Performs client intakes.

• Completes routine clinical audits when needed.

• Assistingclients with EED paperwork.

• Managing client transportation on weekends as needed.

• Otherduties as assigned

Qualifications

• Active California LVN, LPT or RN license

• At least one year of experience in detox, residentialtreatmentor related healthcare setting preferred.

• Must have andmaintaina valid California drivers license, clean driving record, andmaintainpersonal auto insurance coverage.

• Current CPR and First Aid certifications arerequired.

• Must have a current TB test or chest x-ray.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Ability to work well and quickly under pressure both individually and as part of a team.

• Excellent project management skills to consistently meet deadlines.

• Strongorganizationalskillswith superiorattentionto detail.

• Excellent interpersonalskills.
