Key Responsibilities:

· Month-End Close Process: Implement a comprehensive month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely completion of all closing schedules.

· Financial Reporting: Collaborate with divisional leaders to understand business needs and develop GAAP-compliant financial reports using our new accounting system.

· System Implementation: Take the lead or assist in the full implementation of a new accounting system, including the creation of GAAP financials, budget-to-actual reports, and KPI metrics.

· Expense Reimbursement: Spearhead or support the rollout of expense reimbursement and requisition systems to streamline processes.

· Team Leadership: Oversee all accounting activities, including accounts receivable and payable, while fostering team development and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications and Requirements:

· 7+ years as a financial Controller, with a background in accounting, preferably in wholesale distribution or a similar industry.

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

· Proficiency in QuickBooks is a must; experience with SAP is preferred.

· HR Expertise: Demonstrated experience in HR, with the ability to manage technical functions.

· Bilingual/Spanish: While not required, Spanish proficiency is preferred.

· Process Improvement: Proven ability to implement and structure accounting procedures, ensuring GAAP compliance and efficient financial reporting.
