Our client is seeking a qualified IT Engineer with experience in satellite infrastructure. This role will play a critical role in supporting and training users on company systems and applications. This is an on-site position in Kapolei, HI.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain IT network infrastructure, including servers, routers, switches, and other networking equipments ensuring performance, reliability, and security.
- Administer IT Systems and perform system updates, patches, and backups.
- Provide support for IT software and hardware issues, troubleshoot technical problems.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures to protect IT systems and data, respond to security incidents promptly.
- Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans ensuring procedures are effective and data can be recovered quickly and accurately.
- Provide technical support and training to users on IT systems and applications.
- Assist users in resolving IT-related issues and improve their understanding of IT tools and systems.
- Identify areas for process improvements.
- Lead and participate in IT projects, coordinate with vendors and service providers.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements related to IT systems and data management.
- Conduct regular audits to verify compliance and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science or related field.
- CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, CCNA, MCSE or similar preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in IT network management, system administration, or similar role.
- Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure and services.
- Experience in satellite teleport industry strongly preferred.
