We are offering an exciting opportunity for an IT Project Engineer to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. This role will focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructures whilst collaborating with project teams to deliver optimal performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project teams to understand their network requirements and develop tailored solutions.
• Design, implement, and maintain complex network infrastructures to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members and clients.
• Monitor network performance, identify potential issues, and implement corrective measures.
• Configure and troubleshoot network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Stay updated on emerging network technologies and industry best practices.
• Use network design tools and software proficiently, such as Cisco Packet Tracer.
• Utilize network automation and scripting skills, such as Python, Ansible.
• Leverage knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, etc.
• Ensure accurate processing of customer credit applications and maintenance of customer credit records.• Possess a comprehensive understanding of Border Gateway Protocol (BGP)
• Familiarity with Checkpoint software
• Proficient in managing Cisco ASA (Adaptive Security Appliance)
• Experience in operating Cisco Routers
• In-depth knowledge of Cisco Technologies
• Ability to conduct AB Testing
• Proficient in dealing with Computer Hardware
• Experience in Configuration Management
• Familiarity with Datacenter operations
• Experience in managing Deployments in an IT environment
