We are seeking a Controller to join our team in Buena Park, California. In this role, you will oversee all accounting functions, manage cash flow, maintain general ledger accounting records, and implement internal controls and procedures. This role is critical to enhancing the accuracy of our organization's financial results and ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles.

Active CPA is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily cash flow to ensure the smooth operation of the organization

• Maintain and revise the general ledger accounting records as necessary

• Perform detailed financial analyses to support decision-making processes

• Prepare and manage the organization's budget to ensure effective financial management

• Implement comprehensive internal controls and procedures to mitigate risk

• Ensure the accuracy of the organization's reported financial results and ensure compliance with GAAP

• Assist in executing and managing the full scope of the company’s financial reporting, including monthly balance sheets, bank reconciliations, and financial statements

• Oversee the closing processes and associated procedures

• Provide input and support regarding ongoing business and special projects

• Lead the implementation of new payroll and ERP/Accounting Systems

• Manage accounting functions and train staff on payroll, accounts payable and general accounting functions.
