We are in the market for a skilled Controller to join our team in the construction/homebuilding industry, located in Fort Worth, Texas. As a Controller, you will be tasked with managing all accounting operations, including inventory control, cost accounting for inventory and production, and overseeing the accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory and payroll departments.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all accounting operations across both locations

• Handle inventory control and execute cost accounting for inventory and production

• Manage the accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory and payroll departments

• Ensure tax compliance with federal and state agencies

• Utilize your experience with EPR Systems to streamline processes

• Apply full cycle accounting principles to maintain accurate financial records

• Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications

• Manage financial statement preparations and billing functions

• Regularly monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary

• Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner

• Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• A minimum of five years of experience in an Accounting Manager, Controller or similar role

• Proficiency in full cycle accounting is mandatory

• Experience in overseeing billing functions is required

• Demonstrated ability in preparing financial statements

• Must possess exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail

• Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial data analysis

• Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
