Position: Medical Assistant *Do not have to be certified*

Location: Fort Myers, FL 33905

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm, no weekends no major holidays

Duration: 3-month contract to hire  

PR: $19-21/hr. (based on experience and certification)

Must Haves: 

• 1 year experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinic or physician’s office  
• 1 year experience in phlebotomy and obtaining vital signs 
• High school diploma or GED  
• Valid Driver’s license  

Plusses:

• Experience performing venipuncture 
• Experience obtaining manual blood pressures 

Day to Day: 

Insight Global is looking for a Medical Assistant to assist physicians with medical procedures in office. This person will be responsible for rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, phlebotomy, laboratory testing, quality control, instrument troubleshooting, and maintenance. They can have upwards of 275 patients in their clinic every day, so the Medical Assistant needs to be comfortable with a fast-paced environment!
