The Medical Assistant assures that each patient visit and the logistical arrangements surrounding the visit are carried out with courtesy, care, and consistency. The Medical Assistant assists the physician/extender in patient care and education. Ability to display excellent communication, interpersonal, and organization skills required. At a minimum, must perform Washington Health System Core Medical Assistant Skills & Responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

1. Accountable and responsible for the provision of clerical duties and basic medical procedures according to established standards, policies, and procedures of Washington Health System.
2. Accurately reports information to medical staff in order to provide proper patient care.
3. Completes and demonstrates competency in all technical skills and patient care procedures as established by the Washington Physician Group.

Shift: All of our Doctor Offices work Monday-Friday Daylight; some may require evenings occasionally. No weekends or holidays!

Hours Per Week: Full Time is 40 hours per week; Part Time is 16-32 hours per week. 8 hour shifts!

Offices that the WHS Washington Physician Group has are: Family Medicine, Orthopedic Excellence, OB-Gyn Associates, Cardiology, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Infectious Disease, General Surgery, Occupational Medicine, Pulmonary & Thoracic Surgery, Wound & Skin Healing Center, Behavioral Health!

Location/Travel: Some offices may have traveling to different locations. All of our offices are located in Washington or Greene County!
