Responsibilities:

• Provide direct one-on-one nursing care to an assigned elementary school student.
• Administer medications and perform medical procedures as prescribed by the student's healthcare plan.
• Monitor the student's health condition and respond promptly to any medical emergencies or concerns.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized healthcare plans.
• Assess and document the student's health status, progress, and any changes in medical needs.
• Educate and train school staff on the student's medical condition and appropriate procedures.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Jersey.
• Experience working as an RN in a pediatric or school setting is preferred.
• Ability to provide compassionate and individualized care to elementary school students.
• Knowledge of pediatric healthcare procedures, medication administration, and emergency response protocols.
