Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) for a contract position in Billings, Montana. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in perioperative nursing, with the ability to scrub and circulate across various surgical specialties. This role involves working both night and day shifts, scheduled as 5x8-hour shifts per week.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms for surgeries, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are sterilized and available.
• Assist surgeons during procedures by handing instruments and supplies, maintaining a sterile environment.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and manage surgical counts to prevent retained instruments and sponges.
• Provide preoperative and postoperative care to patients, including administering medications and preparing patients for surgery.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and effective surgical outes.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of 1-2 years of recent OR RN experience
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient care
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including both nights and days
