Overview:

Soliant is seeking an experienced Staff Pharmacist to join our team for a temporary assignment at a hospital in Marshall, MI. The ideal candidate will have solid inpatient experience, with a preference for those who also have IV experience. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment with a dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Order Verification: Verify orders and check products with accuracy.
• Code Response: Attend and assist with codes.
• Medication Management: Check ambulance bags and ensure accurate dispensing of medications.
• Collaboration: Work alongside pharmacy technicians who deliver meds, prepare IVs, and refill Pyxis.
• Automation Systems: Use Cerner for order entry (training provided if needed) and Pyxis for site automation (training provided).
• Orientation: 1-2 days of training and orientation required before starting.

Schedule:

• Coverage Hours: Monday to Friday
  • Shift 1: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
  • Shift 2: 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Shifts alternate on a weekly basis.
• No weekend or on-call coverage is required.

Requirements:

• Licensure: Active Michigan Pharmacist License is required.
• Experience: Inpatient experience is required; IV experience is preferred.
• System Knowledge: Experience with Cerner is preferred, but training will be provided.
• Tech Support: Pharmacy technicians will handle med deliveries, IV preparation, and Pyxis refills.
• Dress Code: Black scrubs.
