Are you an experienced inpatient pharmacist looking for an exciting opportunity in Marshall, MI? We are seeking a dedicated Staff Pharmacist to join our team and provide exceptional care at a facility with an average daily census of 50 patients. This is a temporary position starting ASAP and lasting until mid-January 2025.

Position: Staff Pharmacist
Location: Marshall, MI
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: Mid-January 2025
Schedule:

• Monday-Friday
• Shifts alternate weekly: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM or 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• No weekend or on-call coverage required

Job Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders and ensure accuracy
• Check pharmaceutical products for safety and efficacy
• Respond to emergency codes and check ambulance bags
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians who deliver medications, prepare IVs, and refill Pyxis systems

Requirements:

• PharmD
• Active Michigan pharmacist license
• Inpatient pharmacy experience required
• IV experience preferred
• Familiarity with Cerner order entry system is a plus, but training is available
• Experience with Pyxis automation preferred; training provided
• Willingness to undergo 1-2 days of training/orientation prior to starting
