Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team. The SLPA will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support the assessment, treatment, and intervention of munication disorders in students. We are looking for a passionate professional who is passionate about helping students achieve their munication goals.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist in conducting screenings and assessments to evaluate students' munication abilities.
• Implement individualized treatment plans and intervention strategies under the supervision of the SLP to address speech, language, and munication disorders.
• Provide direct therapy services to students in individual or small group settings, as directed by the SLP.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' munication skills in the classroom and educational settings.
• Assist in the development and implementation of munication goals and objectives for students with diverse needs.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of therapy sessions, progress reports, and student data.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in munication Sciences and Disorders or related field.
• pletion of a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant program approved by the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board.
• Valid California state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA).
• Previous experience working as an SLPA in a school or educational setting preferred.
• Knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and best practices in speech-language pathology.
• Excellent munication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
