We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sterile Compounding Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over a year of recent experience in sterile compounding, hold a clear and active LA License, and possess the physical stamina required for the role. As a Sterile Compounding Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the preparation and processing of prescriptions, supporting patient experiences, and maintaining inventory and site cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities:

• Prescription & Equipment Preparation and Processing:
  • Accurately prepare and process prescriptions and equipment in compliance with standards.
• Patient Support & Experience:
  • Provide exceptional support to patients and address any concerns or inquiries.
• Inventory Maintenance:
  • Receive and verify quantities of incoming supplies and materials.
  • Stock and store new supplies and materials efficiently.
  • Review and monitor expiration dates of supplies.
  • Identify and address inventory shortages.
  • Pick and pack materials and supplies as needed.
  • Create and manage inventory tickets.
  • Schedule and coordinate routine patient deliveries.
• Site & Supplies Maintenance:
  • Clean and sanitize surfaces and laminar hood flows to ensure a sterile environment.
  • Organize and maintain cleanliness of supplies and equipment.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in sterile compounding.
• Valid and active LA License.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching.
• Capacity to lift and carry at least 30 lbs.
