The ICU unit has 10 beds, and youll be part of a team providing critical care to patients with a variety of serious conditions.

Job Details:

• Location: Watertown, NY
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights (36 hours per week)
• Overtime: Available after 48 hours

Qualifications:

• Current NY RN license required
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS (AHA), and NIH

Unit Details:

• Beds on Unit: 10
• RN Ratio: 2:1
• mon Patient Diagnoses: Respiratory failure, overdose, acute kidney disease, DKA, AKI, sepsis, Afib with RVR, post-cardiac arrest, pulmonary effusion, stroke/TIA, post-pacemaker, seizures
• EMR System: Meditech
• Required Drips/Medications: Various pressors, cardiac drips, continuous sedation/pain management, insulin, heparin

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality care to critically ill patients
• Administer and manage various drips and medications
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and optimal outes
