Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated ICU RN for a contract position in Alexandria, Louisiana. This role requires caring for patients in critical condition, including those affected by COVID-19. The ideal candidate will possess ICU experience, a positive attitude, flexibility, teamwork, and a strong desire for excellence. Self-motivation, effective munication, and the ability to work in a diverse environment are essential.

Advanced Skills Required:

• Ventilator management
• Critical care drip knowledge
• Thorough and accurate assessment skills
• Proficient knowledge of cardiac, neuro, and respiratory systems

Procedures Performed on Unit:

• Intubations
• Cardioversions
• Ventriculostomy drain placement and management
• Intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) management
• Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT)
• Proning of patients

Certifications Required:

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) is a plus
