Company DescriptionHealthCare Support is actively seeking a Bilingual Medical Assistant / MA to fill an opening with a primary care clinic in Sarasota, FL.
Daily Responsibilities for Bilingual Medical Assistant / MA:
- Back office duties such as prepping and cleaning rooms, socking rooms, triaging, taking and recording patient vitals, documenting medical history and chief complaints, blood draws and injections, and medication reconciliation
- When helping up front: check in check out, patient registration, insurance verification, scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and assisting patients with questions
- Monday to Friday, from 8:00am-5:00pm
Required Qualifications for Bilingual Medical Assistant / MA:
- 2+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant within a clinic setting experienced in front and back desk duties
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Phlebotomy and injection experience
- Experience with the adult/geriatric populations
