We are excited to offer a full-time position for a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Boston, MA. This role is ideal for a compassionate professional eager to make a significant impact in a middle school setting.

Position: 1:1 Nurse (RN or LPN)
Location: Boston, MA
Type: Full-Time
Dates: September 5, 2024 - June 27, 2025
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 2:15 PM
Caseload: 1:1 with 7th Grade Male Student
Transportation: Van transport with student

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Specialized Care: Deliver one-on-one care to a 7th-grade student with specific needs, including trach care, suctioning, occasional toileting, and assistance with cutting up food.
• Health Monitoring: Conduct routine health assessments and monitor the students medical condition throughout the school day.
• Documentation: Maintain thorough and accurate health records and documentation.
• Collaboration: Work closely with school staff, parents, and healthcare professionals to implement and manage the medical care plan.
• Transportation: Assist with the student's van transport to and from school.
• Emergency Response: Respond effectively to any health emergencies.

Requirements:

• Current RN or LPN Licensure
• Experience with trach care and suctioning
• Ability to manage complex health needs and create detailed medical care plans
• Compassionate, attentive, and dedicated to the students well-being
