We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Sign Language Interpreter to join our team on a full-time basis near Shelton, Washington. The ideal candidate will possess a Washington State ESA certification with a Sign Language Interpreter (SIL) endorsement and will be passionate about facilitating munication for students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate and effective sign language interpretation in various educational settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and other professionals to support the educational needs of students.
• Assist in the development and implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs) and other related services.
• Participate in team meetings, providing input on student progress and interpreting needs.
• Support students in both one-on-one and group settings, ensuring that they have full access to the curriculum.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all professional and ethical standards.

Qualifications:

• Washington State ESA certification with a Sign Language Interpreter (SIL) endorsement.
• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and knowledge of Deaf culture.
• Previous experience working in an educational setting is preferred.
• Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators and support staff.
