Are you a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) seeking a rewarding opportunity in a vibrant educational setting? ProCare Therapy iscurrently hiring multiple LPNs to join our team in Allentown, PA, for the school year running from August 26, 2024, to June 6, 2025. This position involves working with K-12 students in both classroom settings and one-on-one situations.

Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Location: Allentown, PA
Duration: August 26, 2024 June 6, 2025
Schedule: 35 hours per week
Roles Available: Multiple positions

Responsibilities:

• Provide general nursing care to students in a school environment, including administering medications, managing chronic conditions, and addressing acute health issues.
• Support students with individualized health plans and collaborate with school staff to ensure a safe and healthy learning environment.
• Offer one-on-one care for students with specific medical needs as outlined in their health plans.
• Conduct health screenings, provide first aid, and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Educate students, staff, and families about health and wellness topics.
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records, including incident reports and medication logs.

Qualifications:

• Valid Pennsylvania LPN license.
• Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric patients is preferred but not required.
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to respond calmly and effectively to medical situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong commitment to providing compassionate care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of a diverse student population.
