We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Business Analyst in the Insurance industry, based in Middleton, Wisconsin. The role will involve analyzing business requirements, processing customer applications, maintaining accurate customer records, and resolving customer inquiries.
Responsibilities:
• Collect and understand requirements to help shape business strategies and decisions
• Process customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency
• Maintain an organized and updated record of customer credit information
• Take initiative in monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate actions
• Conduct User Acceptance/Functional testing as needed to ensure the efficiency of business operations
• Participate in project work involving the addition of new products and provide production support
• Collaborate with the QA team to ensure quality assurance and control
• Utilize skills in Business Analysis to improve business processes and functions
• Gather requirements for system enhancements and updates
• Engage in self-organized tasks and activities to promote efficient work operations.• Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in the insurance industry as a Business Analyst or similar role.
• Demonstrated competency in Business Analysis, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects.
• Proficiency in QA - Quality Assurance with the ability to assess the quality of products and services.
• Proven experience in conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate that a system meets the defined requirements.
• Strong ability to analyze business requirements and provide practical and effective solutions.
• Expertise in gathering requirements from various stakeholders and translating them into functional specifications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear and concise reporting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Proficient in using business analysis tools and software.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Relevant professional certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA) are advantageous.
