Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Tax Preparer to handle the preparation of various tax returns during tax season and throughout the year. For the right candidate, this position offers the flexibility to work remotely. The ideal candidate will have prior tax preparation experience and a keen eye for detail, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of every tax return.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns accurately and efficiently.

• Review financial records, such as income statements and documentation of expenditures, to determine forms needed to prepare tax returns.

• Verify and complete necessary tax forms in accordance with policies and in compliance with legislation and regulations.

• Maintain accurate and organized tax records and files.

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure consistency and accuracy in all tax-related matters.

• Communicate with clients to gather information, answer questions, and resolve any discrepancies.

• Stay updated on changes to tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and provide informed service.

• Assist with additional tasks as needed to support the tax preparation process and overall firm operations.
