Cindy Bradley is actively recruiting for a client that is setting up immediate interviews! ACT NOW! This role is located in NORTH Houston - GROWING MANUFACTURING company! Rile will report to the president and will be the Director of Accounting and budget reporting. Start up division of a larger established company located in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for managing accounting records, financial reports, and driving process improvement projects. This role will offer an exciting opportunity to apply your skills in areas such as general ledger and intercompany accounting, accounts receivable and payable, inventory and cost accounting, and financial analysis. MUST have 5 plus years of manufacturing industry, STRONG COST background, Standard cost, setting up process and procedures.
Responsibilities:
• Establish and maintain accurate accounting records and financial reports. • Manage general ledger and intercompany accounting processes. • Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable functions. • Handle inventory and cost accounting tasks. • Conduct financial analysis to enhance operational efficiencies and profitability. • Provide timely and quality financial analysis and information to management. • Develop various financial plans, budgets, and forecasts. • Direct and support accounting software systems. • Manage accounting functions within the business unit. • Provide ad hoc project or analytical support and customer bid support. • Play a key role in process improvement projects.• Thorough understanding and proficiency in Accounting Software Systems • Demonstrable knowledge of entire Accounting Functions • Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Auditing skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy • Familiarity with Budget Processes and ability to manage financial resources effectively • Previous experience in the Automotive industry is a plus • Prior work experience in a Manufacturing Company • Ability to conduct Annual Standard Cost assessments and adjustments • A strong understanding of manufacturing processes and their financial implications • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to manage and inspire a team • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field • detail oriented certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) is preferred • Proven track record of maintaining confidentiality and exercising discretion.
