Immediate need for a Senior Staff Accountant who will play a pivotal role in the finance and accounting operations within our manufacturing environment and will report to the Controller. This position is responsible for overseeing general ledger activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and providing support for budgeting, forecasting, and analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and cost accounting principles, with a focus on continuous improvement and process optimization.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
Experience and Skills:
· 10+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a manufacturing environment.
· Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and practices in manufacturing highly desirable.
· Uncompromised approach to and respect for confidentiality.

· Professional demeanor with team members and with external vendors and partners.
· Own all assigned tasks.

· Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Great Plains) and advanced Excel skills.
· Excellent computer skills, including software (e.g., Great Plains, Microsoft Office Suite, etc.).
· Accuracy in scheduling, maintaining calendars, and tracking information
· Analytical and data-driven approach.
· Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritize effectively without continuous supervision.
· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
