We are in search of a Controller to join our team in the construction industry, based in Belton, Missouri. The Controller will play a significant role in the future growth of the company, dealing with three major entities. This role will initially be based in Belton with a potential move to South OP in the next couple years. Ideally, we are looking for someone that loves building out processes from scratch that can take this growing company to the next level! Comp up to $120k + 20% bonus potential.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all accounting functions, including the use of accounting software systems

• Contribute to the construction experience by providing financial insights and forecasts

• Collaborate with other teams to support the growth of the company

• Assist in the development and implementation of budget processes

• Manage financial reports for the three entities related to this role

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards

• Provide financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets, and business drivers

• Participate in corporate policy development as a member of the senior management team

• Oversee the preparation of all financial reporting as required by company procedures

• Act as a key point of contact for external auditors and manage preparation and support of all external audits.
