Accounting Clerk Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
Match, batch and code invoices
Research and resolve invoice discrepancies
Set invoices up for payment, check for proper approval, and process checks
Monitor accounts to ensure timely payments
Preparing invoices and posting transactions
Process customer payments and refunds
Assist with month end close
Other duties and ad hoc projects as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements:
2+ years of general accounting experience
Experience with Sage & QuickBooks Accounting Software
Ability to resolve discrepancies
Strong capability to work independently
Solid knowledge of MS Excel Program
Associates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree a plus
Specifics:
Contract-to-Hire
Compensation between $20-24/hr. all dependent on experience
Full time hours: Monday – Friday from 8:30am – 5:00pm
