We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in the property management industry, located in New York, New York. You will be joining a dynamic team where you'll primarily support our accounts receivable processes.
Responsibilities:
• Assist with the accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications.
• Confirm incoming deposits through third-party service providers.
• Maintain and update security deposit records.
• Undertake data entry tasks to ensure accurate customer credit records.
• Handle legal and late charges associated with customer accounts.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Yardi Voyager for various accounting tasks.
• Execute bank reconciliations regularly.
• Resolve customer inquiries related to their accounts.
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.
• Assist in invoice processing to ensure timely and accurate billing.• Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Demonstrated ability in Data Entry
• Experience with Invoice Processing
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with Yardi and Yardi Voyager software
• Experience in conducting Bank Reconciliations
• Ability to manage Security Deposits effectively
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
