We are on the lookout for a skilled Customer Service Representative to join our Healthcare/NHS team based in Signal Hill, CA, United States. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a key role in managing and processing customer credit applications, maintaining precise customer credit records, and addressing customer inquiries. This role will also involve monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary action.
Responsibilities:

Assists other Patient Support Center Representatives and Supervisors with daily paperwork load as needed to resolve and / or document patient issues
Recognizes financial medical and legal risks based on data collected during customer interactions and follows appropriate procedures
Utilizes Optum systems to resolve customer needs such as appointments authorizations claims invoices eligibility benefits appeals TARs
Translates oral information into concise and accurate written documentation per guidelines
Assists new or potential members in the choice of PCP and supplies general information about medical..
• Proven experience in a customer service role within the healthcare industry
• Proficiency in data entry and managing documentation
• Demonstrable knowledge of healthcare procedures and policies
• Ability to schedule appointments efficiently and handle invoicing
• Strong commitment to quality and time management
• Experience in providing workstation support and using internet-based applications
• Knowledge of medical coverage and benefits functions
• Ability to manage paperwork and perform ad-hoc financial tasks
• Experience in claim administration
• Proficiency in English and Spanish languages
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Regular attendance and punctuality is crucial
