We are looking for an experienced Controller, who is looking to grow within a start-up organization. Private equity and SaaS experience is preferred, but not required. This role involves hands on Controller responsibilities and providing critical financial insights to support business decisions.

Controller Responsibilities:

• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoicing, payments, and collections.
• Lead the monthly financial close process and ensure the accuracy of financial records and reports.
• Supervise state and federal tax compliance, including sales & use tax calculations, 1099 filings, and annual tax payments.
• Develop and implement efficient accounting processes and tools to streamline operations, reduce errors, and enhance reporting.
• Act as the primary liaison with banks for financial transactions, loan management, and audits.

Controller Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Controller or in a similar role within PE-backed and SaaS companies.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and financial software tools.
• Experience with QuickBooks, Bill.com, and HubSpot (CRM) is a plus.
• Ability to manage a sub $100 million revenue business, streamline operations, and improve financial processes.
