• We are currently seeking an Intake Nurse (RN, LPN, EMP-P) to work at one of the largest Plasma/Blood Donation Centers in Aurora, CO

  Qualifications
  - LPN License OR RN OR EMT-P
  - BLS certification (because knowing how to save lives is kind of important)
  - Plasma knowledge and venipuncture skills are bonus points (but we won't ask you to recite the periodic table)
  
  Responsibilities

• You will assess donor eligibility.

• Manage informed consent, providing AIDS education and confidential self-exclusion, conducting medical history interviews and acceptance checks,

• Perform physical examinations, blood testing, and reviewing Serological Protein Electrophoresis (SPE) results.

• You will assess donor reactions occurring at the facility as specified in the SOPs.

• Team up with the Center Physician or Medical Affairs (as applicable)

• You will evaluate donor reactions at the facility in accordance with the SOPs.

• Adhere to the SOPs for medical emergencies, which includes executing the Center Physician's standing orders and organizing donor transport to emergency care facilities.
