We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Cash Application Specialist in Milford, Ohio. This role is vital within our service industry team, where you will be tasked with processing customer applications, maintaining accurate records, and resolving customer inquiries.

Responsibilities:

• Operate both SAP and Ariba systems to accurately post cash to multiple accounts.
• Manage daily operations related to cash processing and remittance application in SAP and Ariba.
• Ensure all incoming payments are applied accurately and promptly to the relevant accounts.
• Review and resolve any discrepancies identified during cash posting activities.
• Adhere to preset financial standards, regulations, and guidelines on cash processing activities.
• Utilize excellent numeracy skills to manage accounts receivable and billing functions.
• Perform high-volume data entry tasks to maintain accurate customer credit records.
• Leverage strong problem-solving skills to resolve customer inquiries and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Use Microsoft Excel for account reconciliation and reporting.
• Independently manage multiple deadlines effectively within a team environment.• Must possess expertise in accounting functions
• Proficiency in accounts receivable (AR) is required
• Experience in billing functions is necessary
• Familiarity with cash activity is a must
• Proficiency in data entry is required
• Strong skills in numeric data entry are necessary
• Experience in high-volume data entry is required
• Must have the ability to perform data entry effectively
• Familiarity with cash applications is necessary
• Proficiency in SAP and SAP Ariba is required
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Experience in the service industry is preferred
