Soliant Education is seeking a passionate and skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team in Santa Fe, NM. This full-time contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a school setting, providing essential occupational therapy services to students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work under the supervision of licensed occupational therapists to provide direct therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs (Individualized Education Programs).
• Implement individualized treatment plans and interventions to address students' fine motor, sensory, and developmental needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' functional skills and academic success.
• Assist in the assessment and documentation of student progress, including writing progress reports and maintaining accurate records.
• Provide training and support to school staff and families on strategies to promote independence and participation in daily activities.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of goals and objectives for students receiving occupational therapy services.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in New Mexico.
• Strong interpersonal and munication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
